Bargain Weekend!

Good News: Deals. Deals and MORE DEALS.

We had a few errands to run today, and the deals we picked up were insane.

Walmart: Batman Bike Helmet with Knee Pads – $8 (retail $19.99)
Our son had gotten a bike for Christmas. We totally forgot to buy a helmet and knee pads. We quickly realized those are must-haves!

Old Navy: 50% off CLEARANCE!
Our son needed pants, the little guy sprouted. All mark-downs were an additional 50% OFF.  Talk about a total SCORE! Bought the husband boxers for $1. Pants for my son $3. Summer dresses for my girl $1.99.

I always buy a size bigger in shirts so that the kids can continue to grow into them and use for at least part of the season next year. Fortunately this has worked in years past (I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old).

Target: Toiletries, major markdowns!  Everything from mouth wash to shampoo was on clearance. We’re stocked for at least the next 6 months.

Enjoy those bargains! Hopefully the economy will pick back up quickly, but until then….
