Review: Macaroni Grill Alfredo Restaurant Favorites Make at Home Meal

Being a full-time working mom is hard. My husband is a great help – but still come evenings we both are exhausted and busy spending every minute we can giving attention to the kiddos.  So come dinner time – we are left trying to whip up the quickest thing possible with some nutritional value.

Tonight we tried the Romano’s Macaroni Grill Alfredo restaurant favorites make at home meal.  Macraroni Grill is a favorite restaurant of ours so we were hoping for something good without the hefty price tag.  The meal definately delivered.

The complete meal took approximately 20 minutes to make. Very simple clear directions . We steamed a bag of broccoli with this and skipped adding chicken.

The results? FABULOUS!  It tasted great, reasonably priced and delivered 4 full bellies and NO complaints from the kids (that is HUGE).

A box will cost you approximately $3.99 – you can download a $1 off coupon here! We made 2 boxes and have leftovers that should feed 2 people.

Idea: If you want to add meat – just throw in a can of canned chicken breast.

I give this meal 4 out of 5 smiley faces. If it was healthier – it would of been a 5 out of 5

Recycle and Get Rewarded? Sounds Good To Us!

This is a fab idea in it’s infancy stages -> recycle and get rewarded for it! If you are already a tried-and-true recycler, this will be a great bargain – you’ll be rewarded for doing nothing. If you don’t recycle, maybe this will help you start.

Okay, first I have to a confession. I am not that green. I love the idea of recycling, but truth be told, I slack at it. But, I believe it’s because I’m stubborn and require incentive, so when I read about this – I thought – how STINKING cool. This sounds like a deal/bargain/steal or whatver you want to call it – total win, win situation. The Earth is a winner and so am I.

Here’s the deal:

RecycleBank

You recycle into the normal recycle carts

The carts have an identification tag that is recorded by the recycling truck.

The amount recycled is converted into RecycleBank Points, which you can use to order rewards.
