WOOT OFF TIME!

It’s WOOT! OFF Time! What is a Woot! Off you ask?  Let me explain.

Woot.com is typically a 1 item for sale at midnight kindof site. When that item sells out -- Woot is done until the 12 am the next day. WELL.. to spice things up -- Woot has this cleverness about them. Every month or so they hold a Woot off. A Woof off is this insane period of time -- ranging from 12-48 hours of non-stop discounts.  Woot places an item up for bid -- then when it sells out -- WHAM up goes another item. It’s really insane and is a compulsive shopper/insomniacs dream *raising my hand, yes I would fall into this category*.

I have a few co-workers who are total Woot! freaks and fortunately keep me updated during the work day when something good comes up -- like a Bag of Crap. Oh know -- you don’t know what that is either… Let me explain…well i’ll let wikipedia explain:

bocBag O’ Crap

In lieu of typical product sales, Woot occasionally offers a blind grab bag officially called “Random Crap”. Its accompanying picture has lent it the name “Bag O’ Crap” (BOC). The BOC sells for $1.00 but users are advised to buy the maximum of 3. The BOC typically includes dollar store items and may include significantly more expensive items such as large flat-screen televisions. The BOC typically triggers the flooding and subsequent overload of Woot’s servers with thousands and thousands of order requests. The available BOCs typically sell out within seconds. Processing a customer’s order for a BOC, assuming he or she is first lucky enough to get one before everyone else, may sometimes take over an hour.

People totally get into their Bag o’ Crap -- here are a few people opening theirs -- totally prepared to put on YouTube. If I get one -- I’ll so tape it!

Here is an arsenl of  MUST-HAVES for all Woot! Fantatics:
